You will gain practical, supervised experience in chemical regulatory compliance, including safety data sheets (SDS) and hazard classification, with exposure to SAP EHS data management and training. Typical tasks include assisting with regulatory documentation, collecting supplier data, updating material records, and performing Excel based data analysis and reporting.

With direct supervision, you will learn and perform the various aspects of the function by:
• Acquiring knowledge of department operations, roles, and workflow.
• Collecting, organizing, and filing supplier and regulatory documentation (e.g., SDS, test reports, supplier declarations)
• Updating and maintaining material records in company databases and spreadsheets
• Performing data entry, basic validation, and reconciliation using Excel and other tools
• Assisting in the preparation of standardized regulatory documents from validated source data
• Documenting sources, changes, and rationale to support traceability and audits
• Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve discrepancies
• Attending required trainings, participating in regular mentor check ins, and applying learned skills to assignments
• Performing other related duties as assigned
The requirements are:
• GPA 3.0 or better
• Enrolled at least at the junior level as of Fall 2025 in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science
• Strong leadership skills and a “can do” attitude
• Strong technical aptitude and problem solving ability
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, basic formulas); ability to learn analytical spreadsheet techniques
• Proven ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Innovative, self motivated, and able to work independently when required
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
