Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Trade Compliance)

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will work for Costa Rica Regulatory Compliance Shared Services, providing support to the team on administrative tasks as well as completing daily requests on behalf of Emerson entities, sales offices, and other locations globally. Regulatory Compliance Analyst plays a key role providing information to the team to conduct Trade Compliance activities and comply with the record retention policy. Regulatory Compliance Analyst mainly interacts with the International Shared Services Team members and other Trade Compliance and Logistics contacts in the U.S and Latin America

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Support Core Trade Compliance Activities, including but not limited to:

Perform accurate HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification of goods in accordance with applicable import/export regulations.

Conduct or support import and export compliance audits to ensure alignment with internal policies and external legal requirements.

Manage release of holds in TradeSphere or similar trade compliance systems to avoid shipment delays.

Complete extra tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the Trade Compliance function effectively.

For This Role, You Will Need:

3-5 years of experience in a related field Bachelor in Customs Administration or International Trade-related career Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English (Minimum B2) Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel Knowledge in Trade Compliance Requirements, including 6 screening elements

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Foreign Affairs, or International Commerce or equivalent experience Knowledge in Customs & Trade Terminology (Import classification, valuation, country of origin, incoterms, commercial invoice, and freight documentation) Good communication skills both verbal and written in English (intermediate – advanced) Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Knowledge in Power BI is a plus Our Culture & Commitment to You:
