Regulatory Change Manager
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer Super. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Monitor and analyse regulatory changes impacting the superannuation industry, conducting impact assessments to evaluate implications for operations, products, and compliance obligations.Collaborate with Line 1 teams and facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and expectations.Maintain regulatory change registers and prepare reports for senior management and governance committees.Identify opportunities for process improvements related to regulatory change management, ensuring ongoing compliance and efficiency.Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the regulatory landscape to proactively manage compliance and risk.What you need to have:
3-5 years of experience in regulatory change management, compliance, or risk management within the superannuation or financial services industries.Strong understanding of superannuation business activities, products, and associated regulations, including APRA guidance.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly.What makes you stand out:
Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, or a business-related discipline (desirable).Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating a commitment to developing a career in regulatory compliance and risk management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management and data analysis tools.Strong strategic thinking abilities, capable of operating at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.Why join our team:
