Regulatory Associate
Description Support external customer by providing routine or standard technical information to our customer as they replace certified colors (artificial colors) with exempt from certification colors (‘natural’ colors). • Support internal customers (including Sales, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Marketing) by interpreting regulations, providing information to address external customer needs, providing guidance in the development of products to internal customers by accurately maintaining product information databases. • Identify sales restrictions by market and/or region as dictated by Regulatory statutes. • Suited for individuals who enjoy structured, detail-oriented work. • Less suitable for those who prefer creative or highly dynamic environments, or who are primarily interested in lab/bench work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science discipline (Food Science, Chemistry) or related field. • Strong written and verbal skills. • Prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks in a effective manner. • Attention to detail is essential. • Ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information. • Strong computer skills, with the flexibility to learn web technology and document control computer systems. • Primary language English, Secondary language preferred in Spanish • Academic research experience (e.g., internships, summer research, publication research). • Experience with regulatory research or documentation is a plus, but not required. • Prior regulatory experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
