Regulatory Affairs Specialist(006685)
Objectives:
• To implement regulatory strategy on Professional & Specialty Solutions (P&SS) portfolio to support AP business growth in Great China.
• To secure and defend BASF’s License to Operate on assigned portfolio, ensure timely registration for urban pest control and non-crop use pesticides in Great China.
• To provide regulatory advice and address regulatory issues for P&SS business.
• Ensuring compliance externally and internally.

Main Tasks:
• Implement optimized registration strategies to achieve the agreed business goals.
• Provide regulatory guidance to business units about active ingredient or products.
• Implement registration projects, to guarantee LCM projects are moving as planned.
• Maintain up-to-date regulatory project files and information and build a solid understanding of major regulations and related trends and their impact on the portfolio.
• Support product stewardship / sustainability programs related to the active ingredient or products under responsibility


• Master’s Degree in agriculture or related sciences
• Bachelor’s Degree has to be compensated by experiences
• At least 4 years’ experience in regulatory affairs in Agricultural Pesticides
• Experience in dealing with authorities (committees, regulators, policy makers)
• Preferably some experience in biological efficacy, e-fate/ecotoxicology/toxicology etc.
• Basic knowledge in scientific use of pesticides
• General Knowledge of the regulatory procedures, registration processes, data requirement for registration, regulatory authority constraints
