Job Description: Regulatory Affairs Data Analyst (GenAI Focus)
About the Role
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Data Analyst with a strong analytics background and a passion for emerging technologies to join our global Regulatory Affairs team. This role blends data analytics, enterprise document intelligence, and generative AI, with a focus on enhancing regulatory processes through innovation.
You’ll work across regulatory and technical teams to build Custom GPTs, evaluate AI-powered tools, and automate workflows around enterprise content and data systems. This role is ideal for someone who is technically hands-on, curious about AI applications in a regulated environment, and experienced in working with enterprise platforms such as document management systems (e.g., Objective) and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze regulatory content and structured data to extract insights, identify trends, and enable intelligent decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Custom GPTs tailored for use cases like document summarization, classification, and search within regulatory frameworks.
- Evaluate and benchmark GenAI and NLP tools for enterprise document processing and regulatory intelligence.
- Work with enterprise document management systems (e.g., Objective, Veeva Vault, or Documentum) to access, process, and structure unstructured content.
- Leverage enterprise data lakes (e.g., Snowflake) to query and transform large volumes of regulatory and operational data.
- Build automated workflows using Airflow and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
- Support model evaluation through metrics, prompt tuning, and human-in-the-loop feedback systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create dashboards and visualizations (Power BI or similar) to present data-driven insights to regulatory stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Masters in Data science /Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence .
- 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, regulatory analytics, or operations analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, automation, and prototyping.
- Exposure to Generative AI tools, LLMs, or prompt engineering.
- Experience working with enterprise document management systems (e.g., Objective, Veeva, OpenText) to extract or manage regulatory documents.
- Familiarity with enterprise data lake platforms like Snowflake, including writing performant queries and managing structured datasets.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to work independently in a regulated environment.
- Bonus: Experience with LLM evaluation techniques, dealing with regulatory-specific data (e.g., submissions, labeling, health authority feedback).
