Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Analyst

Location: Breukelen (hybrid – with access to workshop and lab)

Employment Type: Full-time (permanent contract)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Analyst to join our team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance for our electrical, electronic, and water-powered product portfolio on a global scale. This includes managing regulatory submissions, coordinating with test labs, and maintaining technical documentation.

You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Innovation, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Trade Compliance teams, offering regulatory guidance from early product development stages through to launch and beyond. You’ll also help maintain our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and contribute to internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate global regulatory applications and product certifications (new and renewals)

Interpret standards, test reports, and regulatory requirements (CE, RoHS, REACH, RED, WEEE, Prop 65, Batteries Directive, SCIP)

Manage technical documentation, declarations of conformity, and regulatory files

Monitor legislation updates and proactively support compliance planning

Liaise with external partners (e.g., test labs) and internal stakeholders across departments

Support regulatory elements of FMEA, risk assessments, and quality system processes

What You Bring

5–8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality systems

Solid understanding of global compliance frameworks, including CE marking, NRTL, and water certifications (e.g., WRAS, KIWA, DVGW, IAPMO)

Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience with ISO 9001 QMS processes (audits, document control, continuous improvement)

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

Training in product safety standards (IEC, UL, EN)

Knowledge of hazardous substance regulations (SVHC, PFAS, Prop 65)

Familiarity with REACH/SCIP submissions

CE/EU product compliance certification

FMEA or risk assessment training
