Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing a superior level of customer support; answering inquiries regarding technical product information to ensure a positive customer experience for the Food Biosciences business, which include products such as food processing enzymes. In addition, this position will have an opportunity to help support LATAM regulatory submissions for the Cultures portfolio. As part of the Global Regulatory Affairs team, you will work with global teams to ensure that the information needed by our customers and regulatory agencies is accurate and provided in a timely manner.(Submit your CV in English)
The responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Complete customer and internal technical information (documentation) requests according to defined response policies.Provide first line support to customers related to the request process and document content. Escalate to Subject Matter Experts at IFF where appropriate.Keep SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) documents up to date.Identify improvement needs and manage performance to the satisfaction of the business and customers. Strive for continuous improvement.Follow trends regarding customer demands and expectations and identify the need for the expansion of available documents and information as well as automation of templates.Manage the periodical review and update of standard documentation and customer documentation.Manage new requirements and information demands that do not align with standard response policies by escalating to the internal stakeholders.Support document automation by providing requirements and perform testing in various data platforms.Support regulatory submissions for Cultures business, which required filling out forms and obtaining required documentation from other functions such as Quality, Research and Development, and manufacturing sites.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in science (Biology preferred) or related fields.Minimum of 3 years quality, technical customer support, or regulatory experience.Native proficiency (written and oral) in Portuguese.Advanced proficiency in English is mandatory (will be tested during interview steps)Hands-on mentality, service oriented, with good organizational skills, and with high attention to detail. Highly organized, results-oriented and customer-focused with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Perform responsibilities with a positive attitude and an ability to work with a minimal level of guidance and supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Comfortable using IT platforms like CRM, Salesforce, or SAP (is desirable)Ability to draw information from various sources and work with cross functional teams.Knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, GMP’s quality policies, etc.#LI-Hybrid
