**Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT** **Location: Calgary, AB** **District Animal** **Hospital & Urgent Care** has openings for **an** **experienced** **Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)** to join our team. + Registered Veterinary Technician in Alberta + Technical skills; venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations and patient assessment, dentistry, nutrition and pharmacy + Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery + Nutrition consultant + Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records + Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients **Qualifications:** + Excellent interpersonal skills - you enjoy working within a team environment and understand how important team cohesiveness is to a productive day. You are the type of individual who supports your team in a calm and kind way. You also understand there are good days and not so good days and look for opportunities to support and show you care throughout the day. + While teamwork is very important, you will have a keen ability to work independently when required to complete projects or tasks. + Exercise good judgement - making sound decisions on your own and seeking input where appropriate. + Excellent problem-solving skills are essential!
