The Registered Surgical Assistant provides direct assistance to the surgeon(s) during surgical procedures within scope of practice. PRN, work as needed. Practical Nursing Diploma required. Current TN LPN licensure, Current TN Registered Surgical Assistant licensure, Certified Registered Central Service Technician certification required. BLS required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment. ACLS/PALS/NRP required within 12 months of employment.
