Registered Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine - Part Time - Days

Under the direction of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician, independently performs specialized ultrasounds and other technical procedures to assess fetal well-being in the pregnant women of all ages. Education: Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible. Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date. If this is not completed, the employee will be terminated. OB or L&D experience highly preferred Requires registry in Obstetrics/Gynecology specialty. Must provide proof through primary source verification of current ARDMS registration. Skills: Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer. Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to operate machinery. Certification: Current certification required as Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
