Job Summary The Respiratory Therapy Therapist will assess patient's condition and evaluates all data to determine the appropriateness of the prescribed respiratory care. Her or she participates in the development and delivery of the respiratory care plan in accordance with department policies and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible to overseeing all aspects of Respiratory Care shift operation including: Calculate workload multiple times during the shift and assign or reassign staff as per the department protocol, is responsible to be a clinical resource and responding to calls/pages from staff therapist and other disciplines in the hospital that are requiring help and guidance.
