Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States Healthcare Provider Type : Ancillary Services (MQS) START YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req\_id=3456645&source=3456645-CJB-0) Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Los Angeles CA. + Employment Status: Full Time + Schedule: 8-hour shifts, assigned as needed: Day Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Night Shift: 8:00 PM 4:30 AM. No overtime or holiday coverage required. Each 8-hour shift includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal break. Duties and Responsibilities: + Perform full-night polysomnograms and split-night diagnostic/therapeutic studies. Administer medical gases (e.g., oxygen, nitric oxide) and inhaled medications. + Manage all forms of mechanical ventilation, CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP systems. Assisi with intubation and provide airway management. + Conduct arterial punctures and chest physiotherapy. + Respond to rapid response calls and perform CPR. + Provide patient and family education related to respiratory and sleep disorders. + Maintain technical logs and documentation in accordance with VA policy. + Comply with all VA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and CDC standards. Skills and Experience: + Proficiency in airway management and mechanical ventilation. + Expertise in full-night and split-night sleep studies with manual and electronic scoring. + Competence in patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. + Familiarity with VA EHR systems (preferred). + Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Required Qualifications: + Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC). + Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) credential. California state licensure as an RRT. + At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (1 year in critical care) and 2 years of polysomnography experience. + Current Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS preferred. + 3 professional references. + Respiratory Board of California License + Medical Board Completion of an Program + Completion of an of California accredited + Accredited Sleep License + Respiratory Therapy (RT) Program START YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req\_id=3456645&source=3456645-CJB-0)
