Education and Training

Pharmacy Technician Certificate/Diploma from an accredited institution is required. Licensed and in good standing with the Provincial College of Pharmacists.

Experience

Experience in a busy community pharmacy setting or specialty pharmacy setting is preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities

Strong organizational skills. Strong computer skills (word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs, etc.). Strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment. Experience with Kroll computer software. Strong communication skills via phone/email and in person. Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment. Motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required; the employee must notify the Supervisor regarding any health issues that may affect the ability to lift.
