Job Description
The pharmacy technician will primarily handle inbound customer phone calls. Additionally, they will be cross-trained in pharmacy infusion processes, including prior authorization, order filling, and data entry.
ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound customer phone calls.Cross-train in pharmacy infusion processes such as prior authorization, order filling, and data entry.Assist with pharmacy support tasks, including labeling and customer support.Essential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician in FL.1+ years' experience as a pharmacy technician.Strong customer service skills.Experience with prior authorization.High School diploma.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred.Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.Bilingual skills are a plus.Work Environment
Onsite in a closed-door pharmacy in Delray Beach, FL. Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The company offers 6 paid holidays and the opportunity to transition to a permanent role in a small family pharmacy.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
