Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse plus one of the following:
Four years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A bachelor's degree in nursing plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A master's degree in nursing or public health plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A doctorate in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Supervises and manages all nursing operations during the 3–11 or 11–7, 7:00 P.M. TO 7:30 A.M. shift, including oversight of four care units, ensuring optimal staff coverage and high-quality resident care in a 156-bed long-term care facility.
+ Leads and evaluates nursing staff performance, provides feedback, recommends disciplinary actions when needed, and participates in staff orientation, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
+ Collaborates on and manages nursing schedules, coordinates with the Director of Nursing on leave approvals, and ensures adequate staffing by calling in or canceling leave for off-duty nurses as needed.
+ Conducts Quality Assurance audits and staff in-services, promoting continuous improvement in nursing care delivery and adherence to policy and procedure standards.
+ Investigates and reports resident complaints and incidents, recommending corrective actions and collaborating with other departments to ensure coordinated care and resident safety.

Compensation: This position offers a Special Entrance Rate of $2919.20 BI-WEEKLY / $36.49 PER HOUR, plus a Premium Pay of $7.00/HR per hour worked. This position qualifies for shift differentials, with rates varying based on shift time, day of the week, and holidays..
Work Schedule:Hours are from Monday to Friday 3-11 P.M., 11 P.M. -7:30 a.m. to include some weekends and holidays, along with shift work.
