Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Supervises and manages all nursing operations during the 3–11 or 11–7, 7:00 P.M. TO 7:30 A.M. shift, including oversight of four care units, ensuring optimal staff coverage and high-quality resident care in a 156-bed long-term care facility. + Leads and evaluates nursing staff performance, provides feedback, recommends disciplinary actions when needed, and participates in staff orientation, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations. + Collaborates on and manages nursing schedules, coordinates with the Director of Nursing on leave approvals, and ensures adequate staffing by calling in or canceling leave for off-duty nurses as needed. + Conducts Quality Assurance audits and staff in-services, promoting continuous improvement in nursing care delivery and adherence to policy and procedure standards. + Investigates and reports resident complaints and incidents, recommending corrective actions and collaborating with other departments to ensure coordinated care and resident safety.
