Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Provide nursing care to inmates at DCI. + Receives physicians' instructions regarding patient care and ensures that orders are carried out. + Makes regular patient rounds to observe and assess patients' physical conditions and behaviors, evaluates the quality of care provided, and ensures proper documentation of treatment and nursing observations. + Manage and organize assignments and job duties for the shift. Position-Specific Details: JOB APPOINTMENT + A Job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years: however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment. + This position may also be filled as a probation appointment if a non-temporary position becomes available in the recruitment process.
