Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Unit Coordinator for the Intermediate Care Unit!   

 

Hours: 36 per week

Overview:Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Department Overview:

This 24 bed Unit is blended with 8 Step-Down beds for patients who are too ill for general medical/surgical, but do not need an intensive level or care for the ICU.16 beds in this unit are for Med/Surg patients to include some cardiac.

Education

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) or MSN (preferred)

Certification/Licensure

Registered nursing License (Required)

BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

18 months of relevant nursing experience required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$36.89 - $61.48. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
