**Registered Nurse (RN) PRN III Days – NICU for Texas Health Alliance** Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together **Work location:** Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 **Work hours:** **PRN Level III/per diem, Days Shift 7a – 7p; minimum requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks schedule, 2 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 1 major and 2 minor holiday shifts a year** **NICU Unit Department highlights:** + 8-bed Neonatal ICU unit – Level III + 25-weeks’ gestation on up – utilizing CPAP, Bubble CPAP, Vents, and Jets + May Float to assist with Mother/baby Unit + Part of the Texas 10-Step Program **Here’s What You Need** + Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred + RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required + BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required + NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire + NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days + CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days of hire + 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse required + 2-3 years of level III NICU experience strongly preferred **What You Will Do** Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process + Assesses the patient + Plans the care of the patient + Intervenes as appropriate + Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions + Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. + Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information + Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. **Additional perks of being a Texas Health** + Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits. + Delivery of high-quality patient care + Strong Unit Based Council (UBC) + A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.
