We are currently seeking per-diem Registered Nurses (RNs), with at least 3 years of Nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting or similar, for a variety of skilled care in the home such as, injections, wound care, & home infusions. Wound care and injections are typically 1 hour visits while home infusions are a few hours. An IV certification is required for home infusions and you should feel very comfortable working in the home with no back-up and be an expert in IV insertion. Our cases are located in the Hudson County area, mainly Jersey City, Hoboken and sometimes Bayonne. You must have availability to work daytime weekday hours . There are no minimum number of hours you would be required to work. It is beneficial if you live in Jersey City or Hoboken, due to lack of parking. Benefits * Weekly pay with direct deposit * Competitive hourly rate of $50 - $80 an hour dependent on the case and billing rates * Mileage reimbursement between cases * GPS time and attendance technology enhances your access to key scheduling and care information * Variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments * Weekday daytime & evening opportunities * Over 95% of BrightStar locations are Joint Commission accredited or in the process * International opportunities with over 300 locations in US and Canada * One-on-one patient care * Flexible schedule with no minimum required hours worked Responsibilities * Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act * Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes * Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill * Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws * Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs Requirements * Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
