The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a facility of RWJBarnabas Health and provides a complete continuum of care to residents of northern New Jersey. With over 700 physicians and 2,100 employees, we offer advanced treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions. Our facility includes centers for advanced wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics cardiac services, cancer care, emergency services, and more. In 2017, the Medical Center completed a state-of-the-art campus expansion featuring a new four-story 87,000 square foot building with a private, 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby, Retail Pharmacy, Patient Registration Area and newly expanded Emergency Department. Qualification: Required: + Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing + Bachelor’s degree in nursing + Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills + Minimum (3) three years of related chemotherapy experience Certifications and Licenses Required: + Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement + BLS certification through American Heart Association + ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift – 7am – 3pm + Per Diem Essential Functions: Manage a select caseload of patients receiving chemotherapy on an outpatient basis. Administer chemotherapy regimens, perform patient assessment, provide symptom management and patient and family education. Administer non-chemotherapy infusions and blood products, perform patient assessment, provide symptom management and patient and family education. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
