**A Brief Overview**
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care based on AWOHNN and NRP standards of care and professional nursing practice; accountable for the outcomes of nursing care delivered.
**What you will do**
+ Circulating with c-sections, recovering patients post c-section, and pre-oping c-section patients.
+ Ensure documentation is completed on patients.
+ Provide Medication Safety with BMV scanning, hand hygiene, patient identification, medication reconciliation, and patient medication education.
+ Participate in monthly review/unit progress meetings with Clinical Director
**Education Qualifications**
+ Associate's Degree in nursing. (ADN) Required
+ Bachelor's Degree in nursing. (BSN) Preferred
+ Master's Degree in nursing. (MSN) Preferred
**Experience Qualifications**
+ Minimum two (2) years of acute nursing experience. Required
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ Registered Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing Required
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Academy of Pediatrics If not certified, must obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 30 days of employment Required
+ Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Upon Hire Required
+ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certified - American Heart Association Preferred
