Registered Nurse (RN II) - Radiology Interventional-PRN III Days

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas is located at 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK SCHEDULE: PRN III; requirements include 6 shifts every 6 weeks and includes call requirements at night and during the weekend. Must live within a 30-minute response time.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED
* Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree required
* BSN preferred.
* Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
* One-year experience as a registered nurse
* One year of IR, ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
* RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care
* Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
* ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required
What You Will Do
* Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
* Assesses the patient
* Plans the care of the patient
* Intervenes as appropriate
* Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
