*Registered Nurse (RN), Good Sam 6/Med-Surg * Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12 hour shifts w/EOW *Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus* *Department/Unit Summary* PCU is a 15-18-bed unit. Registered Nurses providedirectday-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license following organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team in collaboration and implementation of the established patient's plan of care. Provides care based upon the age and developmental needs of adult and geriatric patients. Assigned responsibility and accountability for an individual or group of patients during a designated time frame. The nurse provides specialized care consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care and designated competencies. The nurse, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.
