* FLSA STATUS * * KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history. * Assist in triage, prioritizing care based on patient acuity. * Administer medications, treatments, and injections as ordered. * Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and splinting. * Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the provider. * Educate patients on discharge instructions, medication management, and follow-up care. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. * Collaborate with P.A.’s, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members. * Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols. * Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
