Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure. Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures. As part of the procedural team you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures. Provide nurse sedation during a procedure. Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.What you will need:
Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and programAssociates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hireLicensed in the State of MichiganCurrent BLSExperience in an acute health care setting preferred; Endoscopy or critical care
