Registered Nurse (RN-CN1) PACU, 0800-2030, Flex Shift, ONA UC Health is hiring a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU department for the flex shift; hours are 0800-2030 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This position requires on - call, holidays, and every 3rd weekend. This 30 bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit specializes in Phase 1 recovery for general anesthesia cases throughout the hospital. As the region's only Level 1 academic trauma center, we specialize in the treatment of complex neuro, ENT and trauma cases. Other surgeries and procedures are diverse and include Cath Lab/EP, IR and ICU level of care patients. Phase 1 recovery focuses on airway maintenance, breathing, hemodynamic stability and pain control.
