Registered Nurse RN Clinical Coordinator Behavioral Health Per Diem

Position Purpose

 At Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital the Behavioral Health Units provide care including inpatient Adult, Inpatient Child and Adolescent and Dual Diagnosis services.

What you will do

The Clinical Coordinator RN assists in the management of unit personnel, the nursing unit environment, and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to all ages of patients.

The Clinical Coordinator RN provides direct care to patients based on patients' age, developmental level, and priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing – BSN preferred

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut ACLS and PALS preferred

Experience:  Knowledge of current nursing, medical and health trends, and practices. Experience with mentoring nursing students. Knowledge and experience with SAMSHA regulations, DPH, Joint Commission, Utilization management Detoxification requirements, Core measures, and psychiatric experience with the adult, child and adolescent and TBI and Rehab populations.
