Here’s what you need + · Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred + · CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency + · Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire + · BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required + · ACLS – within 90 days required + · 1-year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting or completion of a RN residency required + · 2-years current Cath/IR experience strongly preferred - will consider candidates with ICU and ED experience In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will + demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. + The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs. + The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations.
