Overview RN Block Nurse: The ideal candidate for this position will be compassionate, caring and experienced in developing/implementing the plan of care for each patient, making recommendations for patient interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver care and document outcomes. Job Highlights Duties will include: + Patient education: pre and post-op education for patient and family regarding the peripheral nerve block + Nerve block assistance: under direct supervision, administer sedation if needed, and assist with placement of nerve block/catheter by pushing local anesthetic and holding ultrasound probe in place. + Pain management: via patient rounds and/or follow-up calls, assess effectiveness of nerve block to determine patient’s comfort and coordinate with an anesthesiologist any changes to medication regimen/catheter settings that may be needed. + Chart reviews: transfer patient information from hospital EMR records to USAP EMR Qualifications • Certifications: • Education: • Work Experience: (https://clinical-usap.icims.com/jobs/16538/registered-nurse-ne/job?mode=apply&apply=yes&in\_iframe=1&hashed=-336089587) Job ID2025-16538 LocationUS-TX-Austin Employment TypeFull Time
