Co-chairs the hospital Stroke Committee, prepares statistical reports for audits and reviews, and presents data at various meetings. Abstracts and evaluates medical records, including those of re-admitted patients, and identifies program needs in collaboration with hospital leadership. Coordinates stroke education for staff, physicians, patients, and the community. Ensures patient safety and adherence to hospital policies, supports staff development, and serves as a mentor and resource. Works with the quality team to enhance patient outcomes and manages stroke certification applications. *How you’ll contribute* Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. *Connect with our RN recruiting specialist * Not ready to complete an application, or have questions? Additional requirements include: * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
