Job Summary:Pre Admission Assessment and Testing, Pre-op/Procedural assessments, review test results, initiate MD orders and discharge of the following types of modalities: Surgical, Cardiac Catheterizations, Interventional Radiology, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), IV Medication Infusion, Blood Transfusions and Phase II Recovery and discharge. Patient education on post-care and medication orders for both patients and families. Rotation of Unit Charge and Saturdays, which includes staff assignments, Pre-op phone calls assessment on non-PAT patients, pre-procedure/treatment chart review/preparation and post-procedure/treatment follow-up phone calls.
