At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies and interventions.   Our work ethic is the cornerstone of all we do at Mercy Hospital. What you will do

In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.  BSN graduate preferred.

Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts..

Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Skills: 

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.

Experience: Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred. Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.

Work Schedule:  Full time, 36 hours, Nights 7pm-7am

Every Other Weekend/Holiday
