Position Purpose:

Nazareth Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance to join our Quality Improvement team. This role supports hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives by coordinating quality assurance efforts, conducting clinical record reviews, and tracking data to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate comprehensive performance improvement programs under the Director of Quality ImprovementConduct medical record reviews for internal and external quality reportingOrganize, analyze, and track quality improvement data from sources such as Datavision, Midas, and Core MeasuresEnter and monitor core measure data, proactively ensuring optimal outcomesCommunicate findings and concerns to relevant hospital personnelParticipate in and lead FMEAs, root cause analyses, and quality action plansFacilitate and deliver educational sessions on current quality initiativesCollaborate on multidisciplinary improvement teams and committeesPromote integration of risk management and quality processesEvaluate the effectiveness of ongoing quality initiatives and assist with annual reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) requiredActive RN license in the state of PennsylvaniaMinimum 5 years of med/surg, critical care, or relevant acute care experiencePerformance improvement experience preferredStrong computer and data analysis skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams
