Overview We are seeking a n Obstetric Registered Nurse (OB RN) , sometimes referred to as our Obstetric Registered Nurse , Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse or Labor and Delivery RN . Our Obstetric RN will be in obstetrics acute unit and provide specialized care to pregnant patients before, during, and after labor and delivery. The Obstetric Registered Nurse monitor s maternal and fetal health, assist with labor management, administer medications, and support patients through childbirth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): + Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and assess labor progression to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby + Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and pain management therapies as prescribed during labor and postpartum + Assist healthcare providers with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal births and cesarean sections + Provide emotional support and education to expectant mothers and their families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care + Document patient care activities, observations, and responses accurately in medical records to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers .
