Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, This role is for Pre-Op and PACU Qualifications: * Licensure: Current license as Registered Nurse in the State of New York. * Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or related field preferred. * Experience: Two years of related previous experience in PACU/PREOP required, previous surgery center experience preferred. * Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Specialty certification preferred. * Ability to read, write and speak the English language. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, their significant other(s), surgical center staff, physicians/surgeons, and other health care workers. * Computer skills. * Regular patient contact. * Other Contacts: Regular contact with families, patients, and the general public.
