The position will conduct Debrief calls for all surveys, complete exit conference audits and will audit the survey documentation to ensure all state and federal rules, regulations and processes are followed. Complete survey debriefs; conduct exit conference audits; complete audits on nursing home and intermediate care facility surveys and report findings. Assist field managers with determining immediate jeopardy situations with the surveyors in the field. Position Information Job Series:Nurses Classification:Registered Nurse Manager - Competitive Class Code:MNU07C Pay Grade:MED07 Salary Range:$94,387 - $139,693 Job Summary The Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of nursing services in a state government healthcare facility. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage nursing staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The Registered Nurse Manager will supervise and support nursing personnel, manage scheduling, ensure adherence to healthcare standards and regulations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote positive patient outcomes. This position requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage the nursing unit. Primary Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and mentor nursing staff on a daily basis, including registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and nursing assistants. Manage staff assignments, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate staffing levels based on patient acuity and care needs. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients in accordance with nursing best practices and facility policies.
