Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Potential exciting opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia

 

Position Details:

Clinic Hours: Sunday-Saturday (Varied Shifts) typical shifts could be:0645-1915,1845-0715,0645-1515,1845-0315,1045-1915,2345-0715 or 1445-2315Full compliment of benefits are availableA position where your skills are needed and where you will be appreciated  Opportunity to give back to Military and their Families

Position Requirements:

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). may be a graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Experience Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN working in an inpatient intrapartum (Labor and Delivery)setting within the last two years Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required by the state.Basic Life Support Certification American Heart Association/American Red Cross, CPR/AED,  Successfully complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Additional Requirements Possess and maintain Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Additional Requirements: Possess and maintain certification of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

 Possess and maintain certification Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or Emergencies in Clinical Obstetrics (ECO). New employees to be required to take the ALSO within 180 days of starting. This can be completed at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center 

Possess and maintain STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work and Emotional Support Program) certification
