Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital Department: Orthopedic Clinic Position is located: Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40 Hours per Week Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus for new graduates and a $15,000 sign on bonus for RNs with 2 years or more of experience. *Current employees of any Northern Light Health Organization or those with service breaks less than a year are not eligible for a sign on bonus* Summary: This position addresses physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of the patient and coordinates the plan of care with other healthcare professionals. The ambulatory orthopedic nurse will provide care using best practice , demonstrate knowledge and skill in recognizing and responding to abnormal diagnostic data and reporting to appropriate provider, develop and maintain professional relationships with patients/ families and peers, communicate effectively with all members of interdisciplinary care teams, identify resources to meet patient care needs, take responsibility for meeting education requirements, participate in process improvement initiatives, and provide timely and accurate documentation and reflect adherence to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.
