Summary

Registered Nurse (PRN) – Bridging Life Hospice 

Location: Westminster, MD and Baltimore County and City, MD  

PRN – Minimum of 4 shifts per month 

Bridging Life Hospice, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our dedicated team. As a vital part of our hospice care program, you will provide meaningful care and comfort to patients and families during the final stages of life. 

 

 Key Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive and continuous assessments of patients' health status. 

Utilize family, caregivers, and medical records to guide patient assessments. 

Develop, implement, and document patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes. 

Provide patient care in accordance with hospice standards and agency policy. 

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families. 

Participate in physician rounds and supervise Hospice Aides (HHAs). 

Offer emotional and educational support to patients and families. 

Document and update care plans based on ongoing evaluations. 

Ensure safety in the work environment and advocate for patient needs. 

Participate in team meetings, orientations, and community outreach. 

Maintain compliance with all regulatory documentation and performance improvement initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON). 

American Heart Association BLS certification required. 

Minimum of two years of acute care experience strongly preferred. 

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. 

 

 Position Details: 

Status: PRN (as needed) 

Minimum Commitment: At least 4 shifts per month 

Setting: Inpatient Hospice – End-of-life patient care
