Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/EP
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $36.08 - $54.12 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking a dynamic RN to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. This role provides direct patient care and supports physicians during invasive and specialized cardiac procedures in both the Cath Lab and EP Lab settings. The RN will utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to manage patient care safely and effectively throughout all phases of procedures. This includes pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care, as well as collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes. On-call coverage for after-hours emergent cases is required. Responsibilities •Provide nursing care in conformance with current recognized nursing practice, procedures, policies and established standards of care. •Enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel •Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety. Incomplete or unusual findings are reported to cardiologist and documented prior to procedure. •Monitor patient conditions continuously for immediate recognition, interpretation and management. •Administer intravenous sedatives for procedural sedation and titrate medications. •Function as circulator during case •Provide post procedural care and maintenance of arterial and/or venous hemostasis until patient is transferred to the next level of care. •Recover patient per hospital policy. •Calibrate, adjust, maintain and operate equipment as necessary to ensure the safe, accurate administration of tests and procedures. Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions. •Responsible for keeping all licenses and certifications up to date.
