Today, through our state-of-the-art Level One Trauma Center, cutting-edge specialty care units, and dedicated caregivers, the system is working at the forefront of medicine to address the overall needs of our patients and eliminate healthcare disparities. **_All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring._** **Join our Burn Intensive Care Unit, 3 West!** _Primary Patient Population:_ + Adult and Pediatric + Severe Burns + Frostbite + Necrotizing Tissue Disease _Primary skills utilized/learned:_ + Care for hemodynamic instabilities + Sterile dressing changes/Infection Prevention + Complex Wound Care + Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, & CRRT _Personnel RN will work with_ _:_ + Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Trauma/Burn Surgeons, Respiratory Therapy, Child Life Specialists _Number of beds on unit:_ + 8 inpatient beds + Outpatient Clinic _Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:_ + Verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center ( 1 of 2 in Ohio) **MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance.
