We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to serve seniors in our Assisted Living with compassionate, quality care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Available schedule: Part time position working four days per week Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (64 hours per pay period)

A Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for:

Providing direct care to residents under individual plans of care, administering care and medications per doctor’s orders. Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response. Document resident care using charting software. Notify AL Clinical Supervisor, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action, as necessary. Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to HHAs. Display a positive attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications:

Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program. Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have a current MN LPN license. Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse is required.  

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proven history of good judgement and integrity High level of commitment to compassionate customer service­ Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident. CPR Certification

Pay Range: $31.09 - $42.19/hour depending on experience

Saint Therese of Woodbury is now on a public transit roadway. Metro Transit is now piloting a new on-demand, shared ride service in a few areas around the metro, including a 13-square-mile area in Woodbury and parts of Oakdale and Lake Elmo. Metro micro will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on weekdays; 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends.
