Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior RN nursing experience is required, with Labor and Delivery experience preferred. The role includes orientation to all areas of the Family Birth Center, including Labor and Delivery, L&D OR, Postpartum, Nursery, and scrub duties. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate care across the full spectrum of maternal and newborn services.
Work Days:
Eve/night rotating weekends and holidays 8 and 12 hour shifts
