Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiovascular Interventional Suite Full-Time, Days (0700–1730) with Rotating Call Requirement Req # 83654 Join Our Specialized Team in the Cardiovascular Interventional Suite We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab team. Our department operates Monday through Friday from 0700–1730, and provides 24/7 emergency coverage through an on-call rotation. Our nurses are an integral part of complex procedures, including: + Diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Catheterization + Electrophysiology (EP) device implantation + Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures + Vascular access and interventions + Bedside procedures + Advanced cardiac support including IABP and Impella placement Our team partners closely with Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Vascular Surgeons to deliver exceptional, high-acuity care to a diverse patient population. Preferred Candidates Will Have: + Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care, or Interventional Radiology. + Strong critical thinking, procedural sedation, and emergency response skills. + Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Primary Responsibilities: Patient Assessments: Incorporates appropriate assessment and intervention skills that are age specific in all interactions and delivery of nursing care. Assesses patients' physical/psycho-social status. Analyzes relevant data. Integrates assessment results in care planning, goals and outcomes. Provides for therapeutic interventions based on the continued assessment, prescribed orders and input from other care providers. Provides for adequate pain management, manages IV therapy and administers medications according to critical elements. Provides for patient/colleague/self safety and protection. Communication: Communicates with patients, colleagues, providers, and management in an accurate, considerate, and timely manner. Applies patient specific communication skills in interactions that are culturally sensitive & appropriate to age. Language barriers and sensory & cognitive deficit are accommodated. Provides report that is pertinent, concise using SBAR. Documents in a complete, timely and concise manner. Problem Solving: Employs critical thinking skills to achieve outcomes and solve problems. Practices within limits of experience/capability. Collects and integrates data from multi sources and seeks assistance/information appropriately. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Candidates with AAS in Nursing who will complete BSN within four years of date of hire will be considered. Salary Range: $37.00 - $53.81 Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
