This residence has a 24-hour nursing minimum requirement Cove Rd. serves 5 medically frail individuals with complex medical nursing needs, including nursing tasks that cannot be delegated to unlicensed direct care staff.• Ensures compliance with the Taconic DDSOO Policy/Procedures and regulatory requirements.• Completion of nursing procedures/tasks and nursing assessments• Provides nursing care oversight, charts health status, transcribes physicians’ orders accurately, and ensures appropriate medication orders and follow up appointments are communicated within the IRA.• Serves as a member of the inter-disciplinary team.• Provides clinical supervision to LPN’s as well as nursing guidance to the Direct Support staff.• Act as health liaison with medical consultants• Attend team reviews and present information as needed.• Provide in-service health training to individuals, staff, and family. Additional Comments This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). HELPS Program titles may be filled via a non-competitive appointment.
