Responsibilities*Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive team-based care models in delivering expert nursing care to a diverse adult patient population in the Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes (MEND) Clinic and Endocrine Testing Unit at Domino?s Farms.     Perform telephone triage, including assessment, screening, and clinical advice; direct patient care including injections, patient education, documentation with follow-up, in-clinic hands on procedures, and coordination with ancillary services and related departments, and other duties as assigned.Participate as a member of the collaborative health care team, working closely with patients and their families.Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care for optimal patient outcomes.  Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care. Independently and completely performs focused assessment to provide best practice patient care for patients and families as appropriate.  Actively participate and support performance improvement activities related to self, clinic, department, and institutional goals and objectives. Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources, including UMH policies and protocols.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.

Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week. 

Shift/Hours/Days: Day Shift; Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts.  Possible evenings and Saturdays may be required.  Hours may be variable based on patient and volume needs, with flexibility required.

Location: Domino?s Farms MEND Clinic and Endocrine Testing Lab with potential to work in other MEND locations. 

All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
