**Registered Nurse (RN) PRN – PACU Main**

**Work location:** Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013
**Work hours:** PRN II – Days; 12 Hour Shifts with on-call – Minimum 3 shifts per six-week schedule required, Minimum 1 weekend shift per six-week schedule and 1 major/ 1 minor holiday required
**PACU highlights:**

**Here’s What You Need**
· Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma
· BSN (Preferred)
· 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)
· Critical care experience ICU, PACU (Preferred)
· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
**What You Will Do**
· Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
· Assesses the patient
· Plans the care of the patient
· Intervenes as appropriate
· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
