Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) - Surgery _Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together_ Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033 Work hours: Full Time- 40 Hours; Days; Monday-Friday 900-1730 with on call requirement Surgery highlights: o Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. o 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Rooms o Center of excellence for Bariatric surgery Here's What You Need * Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program * BSN preferred * One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. * 1 Year of Operating Room experience strongly preferred * RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire) * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req What You Will Do * Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process * Assesses the patient * Plans the care of the patient * Intervenes as appropriate * Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions * Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. * Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other's need for information * Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
