The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.
Pinecrest Supports & Services Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedRegistered Dietitianto join our dynamic healthcare team. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a vital part in promoting health and wellness by developing and overseeing nutrition plans that enhance the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of provisional Louisiana dietitian/nutritionist license.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Calculates, writes, adapts, and modifies diets or menus to meet individual needs.
+ Counsels and teaches patients and their families the practical and technical aspects for the diet as it relates to the particular patient's health problem.
+ Supervises subordinates in the production of meals and service, sanitation, and storage.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:Detail, Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Department:LDH Dietary
SHIFT: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PASS DAYS: Saturday / Sunday
Compensation: Salary Depends on Qualifications
